As we continue writing our story, let's share Leeanna's story!
Leeanna was born and raised in Rutherford County. Following graduation from R-S Central High School, she attended Isothermal Community College and the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in communications with a concentration in public relations. After graduation, she worked for Acadia NorthStar, Small Town Soul, and Amy P. Torvinen, CPA, CTC.
She comes from a family of entrepreneurs! Her dad, Jim, runs J Torvinen Dump Trucking, and her mom, Amy, runs Amy P. Torvinen CPA. She worked with her brother, John, at Midsouth Pumping LLC. However, Leeanna is a true entrepreneur at heart, and she decided that she needed her own business. Thus the idea of Sweet Forever Florist was born. This was a way for her to show her passion and be creative every day. Leeanna will have her grand opening this Friday, June 23, at 1 p.m.
Leeanna is a wonderful addition to our downtown community. Let's give her a warm welcome to Rutherfordton.
